Things To Do Before Moving
Moving day preparations are essential irrespective of how long you have to your moving day. It is important to keep in contact with us in the weeks and days before in case of a change to the moving date.

Have a Declutter – You don’t want to be packing items & moving them around when they are items you no longer need.

Buy Good Quality boxes – Getting good quality moving boxes will result in less items damaged on your move to your new home.

Take pictures of your electronic equipment before you unplug

Contact your existing & new utility providers (electricity, gas) to have your services turned off.

Empty and defrost your fridge/freezer. Preparing a fridge for a move can be time consuming so allow for longer than just one day before the move.
PACK YOUR FIRST DAY BOX

Wrap valuables and Fragile items in layers of packaging, bubble wrap should be used for any all fragile items.

Label each box by room and by its contents or a persons name, it is very important to label clearly any boxes that contain fragile items.
